Local cafés are vital for maintaining a sense of community and are the social fabric of the people we reach. In the Albany Park area, NBP has partnered with cafés such as First Slice Manor (@ Francisco Brown Line stop) and Café Chien to extend its reach in the neighborhood.

All sessions are led by teaching artists. Participants keep all the books they make. Coffee, tea, and pastries are made available for purchase at the cafe. 

There is a $20 suggested donation. Please help us by supporting the teaching artists who offer their time and expertise to these workshops.
